I don’t know where to begin in trying to summarise this awesome day into one or two short paragraphs - it just won't do it justice.  Do I talk about the the sheer magnitude of having 150+ friends and loved ones together to celebrate, the newsworthy best man’s speech that was reported in print and radio – I just don’t know where to start !!

The forecast for Halloween was not exactly 'ideal wedding weather', but thankfully, despite the ‘bad news’ presented by the weather experts  Mother Nature held off long enough to ensure Jon and I were able to get everything we needed.  We started out by both making our way to the luxurious Fairyhill Venue, nestled within the greenery of the Gower, where I covered Alex and her bridal party’s preparations and Jon saw to Gav and his groomsmen. Following a beautiful service held within the glass walled reception room, we set about capturing many timeless images of the couple with their nearest and dearest.  As I alluded to earlier, after the delight...

Steff and Tara's day was was just awesome. It  was a beautiful and warm July day with the Gower showing off it's beautiful summer colours.  I started off the coverage by attending at the couple's home in Cross Hands to capture Tara and family preparing for the day ahead.  Meanwhile Helen went to Steff's mothers house in Brynamman to capture the shenanigans of Steff and his grooms men getting ready.  Following that we both made our way to Oldwalls, where, after the beautiful civil service we made full use of the beautifully landscaped grounds to capture some timeless images of the couple, their friends and family.  Scroll down and take a peek ... this blog should give you a great idea of how the day unfolded.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you like what you see ...

Ahhh ... Three Cliffs on the Gower, the second place my wife and I dated.  What's not to like ? A cliff edge ruined castle overlooking one of the finest views in the UK, followed by a meandering downhill estuary walk to the beautiful three pointed jagged headland.  Amazing ! An all the while I had the pleasure of Non and Josh's company just weeks before they tie the knot in May.  As you can see, this totally relaxed and chilled couple had loads of fun - I can't wait to shoot your day ! I just had to share a few of the images - aside from the foliage, you'd never have guessed it was winter (the driving bitter wind gave it away to us when we were there).  Anyhow - again can't wait to shoot your day - it's gonna be ace ...

Thanks for looking,

It's been a very busy autumn ! I'm just about up getting up to date with all of my September weddings prior to Gareth Scanlon Photography HQ being relocated to Ammanford very soon.  I just had t share a couple of frames from Karys and Ben's awesome wedding day.

I started the coverage of their day by catching up with Ben and his family at a local Air BnB which was located within the immediate vicinity to Llanrhydian Church where the couple would tie the knot.  Following a beautiful service by Father Tim we made our way to Ocean View where the couple held their reception and after party. On the way I just had to stop at rustic looking workshop on the way to the venue which made a beautiful backdrop for a few portraits.

Here's a few frames which show how their wonderful day unfolded.  Hope you like what you see - thanks for looking ...

The moment I met Aidan and Sian - I knew we would click (no camera pun intended !) - I was right, they were awesome.  It was the height of what I'm sure will become the fabled Summer of '18 heatwave, a gorgeous and boiling hot day.  I started off at Sian's grandparents house in Pontyberem to cover Sian and her bridal party getting ready.  Meanwhile, Jon of Cross Jones Photography second shot for me and cover Aidan and his pals getting ready at the couples home before we both rendezvoused at Oldwalls.  As I'm sure you'll see from the pics, Aidan and Sian and their friends and family really knew how to have a good time - had an absolute ball - thanks guys.

What a day - it was absolutely fab, here's a hundred or so frames form the couples day - should allow you to have a good idea how it all unfolded.
