My first blog back for some time, and what a belter of a wedding to quick it off with. Hayley and Colt's wedding was just fab - thankfully we largely missed most of the horrendous December weather and came away with some absolutely beautiful images. You'd never tell looking through the pics here !
I started out at the Hayley's parents home where Colt and his groomsmen were getting ready for the day ahead before making my way to the Cawdor to capture the bridal party's preparations. Following a beautiful service I took the newly weds to some spots in the town immediately around the venue where we got some beautiful timeless images for them to cherish forever. You'd never had said that mother nature was doing what she does best in Wales - tipping water from the sky all day !!
Anyhow, your here to see how their day unfolded, take a peek at the 100 or so images below.
Hope you like what you see, thanks for looking ...
I just had to a share a few beautiful images from this awesome family shoot in All Nant Y Ci in Ammanford. Autumn wasn't quite yet on full display but none the less we managed to capture some lovely colours in the background behind this beautiful family.
I absolutely can't wait to shoot Laura & Martin's wedding next July - it's gonna be awesome !
Here's another beautiful August Wedding hitting the blog ! Lowri and Scott's day was absolutely awesome. I started off at Lowri's parents house where her bridal party and beautiful little daughter Aria were getting ready. Following a short car ride to the White Hart Inn in Llandeilo I caught up with Scott, his grooms men and the couple's guests arriving. After a touching service, I took some pics of the couple with their family in a beautiful little corner with ever so colourful berries nicely hanging down framing the images. There was a beautiful sunset, so just before the sun disappeared I took the couple to a field near the venue where we got some fantastically lit portraits. Anyhow at the risk of rambling on, here are a hundred or so frames from their day - should give you a good idea how the day unfolded ...
Hope you like what you see - thanks for looking ...
Yaaaaaassss - wedding season is back ! Beth and Leighton's big day at Broadway Housed, Laugharne was my first of the 2019 wedding season and what a belter it was too ! I started off by literally driving 250 yards around the corner to the couple's home to capture Beth and her bridal party getting ready for the day ahead. Meanwhile, Jon headed to Leighton's parents house in Ystradgynlais where he and his best man were likewise getting ready. Following the preparations, Jon and I made our way to Broadway and captured this beautiful day as it unfolded. It was absolutely fab, I won't keep going - I'll let the photos speak for themselves, there's a 100+ images below which should give you a good feel for the day - after all you're here to look at pics !
Well ble allai dechrau ? Dydd hyfryd - popeth - y tywydd, y lle, y pobl - popeth yn gyfan. In the intrest of inclusion I'll carry on in English, despite this wedding being conducted entirely in my mother tongue.
I started the day in god's country - my home village of Brynamman where Cerys and her bridal party were getting ready - I miss it so much - hiraeth ! Following the preparations I made my way down to St Catherine's Church where Huw and his groomsmen were ushering guests into the church. Following a beautiful ceremony, we stopped at the top of the Black Mountain near Tro'r Gwcw before making ur way to Caerhyn Farm Venue - man - what a place - this is going to get very popular indeed, rustic, beautiful, awesome view - great owners - all the right ingredients.
Anyhow, I'll let the pics speak for themselves - it was an absolutely fan-bloody-tastic wedding.
Well, don't know where to start here ... I'll keep it simple - awesome awesome awesome wedding ! When Amy spoke to me and told me about the plans for their wedding, that is, a teepee, tapas food, pics in an period small gauge railway station I was fully signed up ! I'm not going to ramble on any more - safe to say like I said above, a truly epic day which was an absolute dream to shoot - just check the pics - every single one with people laughing, smiling and joking !

As those of you who follow me on my social media feeds will know, you could tell that Billie and Rhys's images were nearing completion as I bombarded my feed with frames from their day. This was with good reason too - what an absolutely fabulous day !
I started out covering Billie and her bridal party getting ready at the Cawdor Hotel in Llandeilo, I still remember the great effort Billie and the girls went to elegantly attaching all of the flowers to Billie's awesome head piece. I then left just before the vintage convertible VW Beetle that was taking Billie and her Dad to Llanegwad Church. I got there perhaps 15 minutes before them where I met a Rhys, his groomsmen and the remainder of the wedding party.
Following the marriage service, we made our way to Llanarthney where a reception Teepee awaited the newly weds at Margaret Bowen Memorial Field. Whilst en route, I spotted a beautiful barn at the side of the the road, traditionally white-washed but with contr...
It didn't rain in Myddfai ! Just had to say it - it was actually the hottest day of the 2017 (up until that date anyway) - what amazing luck. Myddfai is a beautiful and historical little hamlet tucked away in the Western Beacons - I've spent a lot of time walking and photographing Red Kites in that area and such it has a very special day in my heart. When Siân and Tom asked me to cover their day and then told me they where they were getting married I was overjoyed ! What a day it was as well. The couple got married at the Myddfai Community Hall and Visitor Centre which is a spiffing little venue with wonderful views from it's large windows (which also let a great deal of light in - massive bonus). I just don't know what to start to tell you about first, the aforementioned awesome weather, amazing car, the wonderful decor, the food theme or the couple that were really up for things photographically wise - Where do I start ? Perhaps I better just let the pics speak for th...
